Roatan, Honduras – Pristine Bay Resort, a new property (site pictured) with a Perry and Pete Dye golf course that’s slated to open later this year, is selling lots, villas and condominiums on the island, which is located 35 miles off the coast of Honduras.
Quarter-acre lots – some with unobstructed views of the ocean, golf course, and the world’s second-largest barrier reef – range from $230,000 to $700,000. Two-, three- and four-bedroom villas are priced from $600,000 to $1 million, with condos ranging from $348,000 to $700,000. Plans also call for a 120-room resort and spa and a 155-slip marina.
Non-stop flights to Roatan are available from Houston, Miami, Atlanta and Newark, N.J. Pristine Bay Resort is located six miles from Roatan International Airport.

Leixlip, Ireland – Tour operator Golf Vacations Ireland is, not surprisingly, rooting for young phenom Rory McIlroy to win the Masters this week. If McIlroy wins, the company plans to give away $100,000 in golf vacations and charitable donations.
GVI is running a contest on its website, offering four Irish vacations valued at $19,000 apiece if McIlroy captures the Masters. The company also has pledged to donate $24,000 to The First Tee if McIlroy wins.
