Ochoa, Kerr in Safeway Classic field
NORTH PLAINS, Ore. – Top-ranked Lorena Ochoa is among those in the field for next week’s Safeway Classic at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club.
Organizers announcing the field on Friday said money leader Cristie Kerr, the defending tournament champion, will also play in the LPGA event.
Ochoa won the tournament in 2007.
The Safeway Classic is moving this year to the Ghost Creek Course at Pumpkin Ridge after a long run at Columbia Edgewater Country Club near Portland International Airport.
