Peck’s rally will fall short at U.S. Am
TULSA, Okla. – Cameron Peck, the 2008 U.S. Junior champion, made an impressive rally Tuesday, but looks like he will fall at least a shot short of making match play. Peck followed his opening 80 with a 1-under 69 at Southern Hills, one of just a handful of sub-par scores at the course.
Peck made four birdies on his front nine to turn in 32, but had three bogeys and a birdie at No. 17 on the back nine and shot 37. Peck is a freshman at Texas A&M.
