Neighbors found Woods shoeless, snoring
A recording of the Florida Highway Patrol’s interview with Jarius Lavar Adams, who called 911 in response to Tiger Woods’ crash, and his sister Kimberly Harris.
Just when you thought that the Tiger Woods escapade couldn’t get any more unusual comes this revelation:
The world’s top-ranked golfer was found shoeless and snoring by his crashed SUV in the early-morning hours of Nov. 27 near his mansion in Windermere, Fla., according to an eyewitness account.
Neighbors Jarius Lavar Adams and his sister Kimberly Harris spoke with Florida Highway Patrol investigators 14 hours after Adams called 911 in response to Woods’ crash in the exclusive Isleworth community near Orlando. The FHP released the audio portion of the interview on Dec. 3.
In the 16-minute interview, Adams said he found Woods to be unconscious and snoring, with wife Elin Nordegren Woods tending to him outside the passenger side of his 2009 Cadillac Escalade. Woods’ wife pleaded with her neighbors for help, Adams told troopers.
“She said, ‘Can you please help me? Can you please help me,’ ’’ Adams said.

Adams said that he immediately ran into his home to grab his phone and dial 911. Meanwhile, Harris, who was visiting from Texas, brought a blanket and a pillow for the fallen golfer.
Adams and Harris told troopers that Woods’ injuries appeared to be minimal, with only a cut lip visible. Woods would cite injuries from the crash and doctors’ advice in announcing that he would not play in this week’s Chevron World Challenge, which benefits the Tiger Woods Foundation.
The neighbors also told troopers that Woods’ mother, Kultida, and another woman whom they thought was Elin Nordegren Woods’ mother came out of the golfer’s home after the crash to offer assistance.
