Player of the Week: Sierra Sims
Sierra Sims, of Austin, Texas, shot 8-over 152 (77-75) at Traditions at Texas A&M Golf Course in College Station, Texas, to win the Texas Junior Golf Tour’s Traditions Invitational by three shots.
Sims, 13, had two other top-5 finishes in TJGT events this year, and earned one AJGA win. Despite cold and rainy conditions, Sims played a stretch of five holes in 3 under during Round 2 on her way to the win. She had five birdies on the weekend.
