A Kenny G sighting

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. – Most random (and fantastic, for that matter) sight and sound from Day 3 at Honda?

Listening to musician Kenny G warm up his saxophone near the scoring trailer while Rory McIlroy rolled in a closing birdie about 100 yards away on the 18th green. Kenny G, a plus-0.6 handicap, was awaiting an interview with NBC. He’s serving as the title sponsor of the tournament’s Wednesday pro-am, which was renamed The Kenny G Gold Pro-Am.

As McIlroy exited the green and walked past the musician, the look on Kenny G’s face was priceless. Deep down, it was obvious he was thinking, “That guy’s hair is almost as nice as mine.”
