Ragan, Ludvigson resign from Oklahoma
The coaches of the Oklahoma men’s and women’s golf teams have both resigned.
Jim Ragan spent nine seasons as the men’s coach and led the Sooners to the NCAA tournament each of his first eight seasons. However, Oklahoma missed advancing this season after a 10th-place finish at the Big 12 Championship.
Carol Ludvigson also resigned her role as women’s golf coach Saturday after 24 seasons and will move to a position in the athletics department’s academics unit.
The women’s team also missed the national championship, although Kendall Dye made it as an individual.
