Sims (No. 9, 2012) commits to Wake Forest
Mariana Sims, of Austin, Texas, has given a verbal commitment to play golf for Wake Forest in the fall of 2012. Sims, also considered Tulane, North Carolina, Duke, Ohio State, Georgetown, Miami, Texas A & M, Florida, Texas, TCU, SMU, Oklahoma and Kentucky.
“I chose Wake Forest because I thought it was the best mix of academics, coaching and golf facilities,” she said.
Sims had two top 10s in AJGA events this summer, including a runner-up finish at the Valero Texas Open Junior Shootout.

Messana (No. 44, 2014) commits to Clemson
Fletcher (NR, 2014) commits to Mississippi State
Herr (No. 15, 2014) commits to Wake Forest
