Janine Fellows capped 2009 on a good note, winning the Arizona Silver Belle Championship in a playoff Dec. 30.

The Tulane junior shot 7-under 209 (75-66-68) at Raven Golf Course in Phoenix, Ariz., and was tied with Katerina Ruzickova after three rounds. Fellows won the title on the first playoff hole.

Northwestern freshman Lauren Weaver and Jennifer Yang of Coquitlum, British Columbia, finished T-3 one shot back. Casey Grice, Mariana Sims and Jackie Chang tied for fifth at 5-under 211.

Jane Rah, who left Oklahoma State after the fall semester and earned full status on the Duramed Futures Tour in November, was 13th at 3-under 213.

AJGA Ping Invitational winner Rachel Morris finished T-15 at 1-under 215. She will play for USC in the fall of 2010.
