Pickerell (N/R, 2012) commits to Tennessee
Ashlee Pickerell, Class of 2011, recently gave a verbal commitment to the University of Tennessee, according to her mother, Allyson.
Pickerell, of Salem, Ore., had made unofficial visits to Oregon State, UC Irvine, Arizona and Arizona State and also was considering Tulsa and Tulane. She was sold on Knoxville after attending men’s and women’s basketball games.
Pickerell is a four-time Portland (Ore.) City Junior Champion and has collected 61 tournament titles in her junior career.
