Golf Knickers a hit at PGA Show
Thursday, January 6, 2011
ORLANDO, Fla. – With a sea of vendors at the 57th PGA Merchandise Show, it’s not possible to see everything on the first day. However, there are some booths that are almost impossible to pass up. That was the case for me when I walked past Golf Knickers this morning.
Imagine a display of Plus fours – also sometimes known as the late Payne Stewart’s fashion statement – in 20 different colors and eight various plaids. They also have argyle socks in 78 different colors and patterns. Their booth was definitely eye-catching and made a vibrant statement.
Nearly eight years ago Joe Parisi, a tailor by trade, and John D. Smack decided they wanted to bring a traditional brand to the golf apparel scene. Their entire collection is available internationally, online, at various pro tour events and also at PGA Tour superstores. Available in both men’s and women’s styles and color patterns, Golf Knickers is a fun brand that brings tradition, trends and a classic vibe to the fairways. The company allows users to customize their own outfits and also offers various ensembles from which customers can choose.
Golf Knickers has had a lot of success with their brand at special golf events and golf tournaments, and knickers are frequently ordered for the pro-shop staff to wear for both regular work and special tournament days.
This is a fun brand that is hard to pass up, so check them out. I hope to get a pair in my closet soon!
