UNC Wilmington head coach Matt Clark has been hospitalized at Duke University Hospital after becoming ill Nov. 11, according to the Wilmington Star News. Clark was transported to the facility after undergoing a brain scan at New Hanover Regional Medical Center that revealed bleeding.

Clark’s wife Erica told the Star News there is a history of aneurysms in his family. He is expected to remain at the Duke medical center for up to three weeks, where he will undergo neurological tests.

Clark is in his third season as head coach at UNCW. The Seahawks, which won the VCU Shootout in September, are ranked No. 53 in the Golfweek/Sagarin College Rankings.
