Cross one notable name off the field of entrants for the second stage of the PGA Tour qualifying tournament.

According to the PGA Tour, Chris DiMarco will play in 2011 with his one-time exemption for being within the top 50 for career money. Winless since his third PGA Tour victory in 2002, DiMarco has finished outside the top 125 three consecutive seasons. He was 165th this year, which would have required him to go to the second stage of Q-School. But being 26th on the career money list ($21,244,288) gives him playing privileges next season. He played the 2010 season out of the 126-150 category, which required some assistance via sponsor exemptions.

DiMarco, 42, previously had used his one-time exemption for being within the top 25 in career money. He used that in 2009.
