Eight-time major champion Tom Watson has been named the keynote speaker at the players’ welcome reception for the 2011 Junior PGA Championship.

The 2011 Junior PGA will be held for a second consecutive year at Sycamore Hills Golf Club in Fort Wayne, Ind., on Aug. 2-5. Denny McCarthy and Cassy Isagawa won their respective divisions at this year’s championship.

“As a professional golfer, I am honored to be in Fort Wayne for one of the junior majors,” Watson said in a statement. “These are tomorrow’s professionals and avid golfers.”

Watson, then 59, nearly won the 2009 British Open, eventually losing in a four-hole aggregate playoff to Stewart Cink. Watson has been named the PGA Player of the Year six times.
