Rika Park captured the Kathy Whitworth Invitational Tuesday, finishing two shots ahead of Shannon Aubert. Park has committed to play for Miami in the fall.

The 18-year-old Park has won four times this seaon on the International Junior Golf Tour. She finished runner-up to reigning U.S. Girls’ Junior champion Doris Chen at the Golfweek East Coast Junior Invitational.

Park set the pace during the first round with a 4-under 67, the lowest round of the tournament. She closed in 73 to finish at 2-under 140. Aubert’s second-round 69 left her at even-par 142 and just short of the title.

Aubert, a member of the French national team, also made a run last month during the final round of the Annika Invitational before finishing with a share of sixth.

Samantha Wagner was third at 3-over 145 and Sierra Sims was fourth another shot back.
