Clark (No. 2, 2012) commits to Oklahoma State

Wyndham Clark, of Greenwood Village, Colo., has given a verbal commitment to Oklahoma State for the fall of 2012. Clark also made unofficial visits to Duke, Texas and Oregon.

Clark was attracted to Oklahoma State because of the practice facilities, coaches and team.

“When it came down to my choice, it mainly had to do with the coaches,” Clark said. “I just felt like that was the place for me so it just felt right.”

Good friend Tanner Kesterson will be a freshman on the roster next season, and Clark said he also had the opportunity to meet many of his other future teammates during his unofficial visit.

Clark is ranked No. 2 in Golfweek’s rankings for the class of 2012, and is the top-ranked player in Colorado in his class. He recently finished third at the HP Boys Championship at Carlton Woods, the first AJGA invitational of the season. He was third at the 2010 Western Junior, and also won the Colorado State Amateur last year.
