Fowler added to the Chevron Challenge field
Rickie Fowler has joined the Chevron World Challenge field. The 23-year-old was the first alternate into the Dec. 1-4 event at Sherwood Country Club, but was added to the field after Brandt Snedeker underwent hip surgery last week. Fowler is No. 26 in the Official World Golf Ranking.
In October, Fowler won the OneAsia Tour’s Korea Open for his first professional title, winning by six strokes over Rory McIlroy.
Other notables in the field: Tiger Woods, Dustin Johnson, Jason Day and Steve Stricker.
