Odaiyar (No. 52, 2013) commits to Central Florida
Kristine Odaiyar of Ocala, Fla., has given a verbal commitment to play college golf at Central Florida. Odaiyar also considered Florida.
Odaiyar said she was sold on Central Florida because of the number of courses at her fingertips in Orlando, where UCF is located. She said she also was impressed by UCF's practice facilities and with coaches Courtney Trimble and Mary Bryan.
“It’s pretty much been a convenient choice for me,” Odaiyar said.
Odaiyar, the No. 23-ranked girl in Florida, won the 2011 Florida Junior Match Play and tied for ninth at the AJGA’s Florida Junior.
