The PGA Tour on Wednesday announced its nominees for the 2011 Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year awards.

These players were nominated by the PGA Tour Player Advisory Council and Player Directors. The awards are determined by a member vote, with PGA Tour members who played in at least 15 official events in 2011 eligible to vote.

The winners are expected to be announced during the week of Dec. 12.

Player of the Year nominees (in alphabetical order):

Keegan Bradley: In 29 events, the PGA Tour rookie won the HP Byron Nelson Championship and PGA Championship. Four top-10 finishes, and ranked 13th on the money list, with $3,758,600 (20th on the final FedEx Cup points list)

Luke Donald: In 19 events, the Englishman won the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship and the final full-field event of the season, the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Classic. He led the Tour with 14 top-10 finishes and was first on the money list, with $6,683,214. Earned the Byron Nelson Award and Vardon Trophy for lowest adjusted scoring average

Bill Haas: In 27 events, Haas won the Tour Championship, the FedEx Cup title and earned $11.44 millino. He had seven top-10 finishes, including playoff losses at the Bob Hope Classic and The Greenbrier Classic. Finished seventh on the money list, with $4,088,637

Webb Simpson: In 26 events, he won the Wyndham Championship and the second event in the FedEx Cup playoffs, the Deutsche Bank Championship. He had 12 top-10 finishes, including playoff losses at the Zurich Classic and the McGladrey Classic. Was second on the money list, with $6,347,353

Nick Watney: In 23 events, Watney won the WGC-Cadillac Championship and AT&T National. Had 10 top-10 finishes, and finished third on the money list, with $5,290,673

Charl Schwartzel: In 16 events, the South African claimed a victory at the Masters. Four top-10 finishes, and ranked 24th on the money list, with $2,604,558

Scott Stallings: In 29 events, he won The Greenbrier Classic, one of his two top-10 finishes. Ranked 41st on the money list, with $1,957,162

Brendan Steele: In 27 events, he won the Valero Texas Open, one of his three top-10 finishes. Ranked 38th on the money list, with $1,976,310

Jhonattan Vegas: In 26 events, he won the Bob Hope Classic and had four top-10 finishes. Ranked 46th on the money list, with $1,854,414
