Sorenstam, Pressel to team up at Skills Challenge

PALM BEACH, Fla. – Annika Sorenstam and Morgan Pressel will team up to compete against the men for the first time in the ADT Skills Challenge on Nov. 7.
The three men’s teams will be defending champions Nick Price and Mark O’Meara, Nick Faldo and Rocco Mediate, and Jerry Kelly and Zach Johnson.
In 2004, Sorenstam became the first woman to compete in the PGA Tour-sanctioned event, finishing sixth. She’ll be part of the event’s first female team with Pressel, ranked 13th on the LPGA Tour money list.
Golfers will compete for $800,000 in such skills categories as long drive, mid-iron, bunker shot, chip shot, trouble shot and short iron.
