COLUMBUS, Ohio – Behind by 16 strokes after the first round, the Kent State men battled back to win the Robert Keppler Intercollegiate on Sunday, clearing SMU by a stroke.

Indiana - who had a tournament-low 292 in the first round - finished third at 51 over after rounds of 307-304 to finish the tournament.

Northwestern was fourth, while host Ohio State and Xavier tied for fifth.

SMU's Max Buckley held onto his overnight lead to take medalist honors at 7 over, holding off Ohio's Paul Grauer and Xavier's Sebastian MacLean by a shot.
