Team of the week: Auburn

The Tigers survived a tough golf course, a field that included seven top-15 teams and a home team that knew the golf course well in defeating host Arkansas by one shot to win the Southeastern Conference Championship on April 22 at The Blessings Golf Course in Fayetteville, Ark. Auburn, No. 5 in the Golfweek/Sagarin College Rankings, also defeated No. 2 Alabama by six strokes. Others in the field included No. 6 LSU, No. 10 Georgia, No. 12 Vanderbilt, No. 13 Florida and No. 15 Tennessee.
