Tyler Dunlap, a Texas A&M sophomore from Westlake, Texas, and Tyler McCumber, a Florida senior from Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., are one shot back after posting bogey-free 65s.
Defending champion Patrick Rodgers, a Stanford sophomore from Avon, Ind., is tied for 10th at 67.
Thirty-seven of the 78 players broke par.
