Hawaii won the Girls’ Junior America’s Cup on July 27 on its own turf. Led by Eimi Koga and Mariel Galdiano, the team finished at even-par 658 for the 54-hole event played at Wailea Golf Club in Maui, Hawaii.

Southern California finished at 1-over 549 as Mexico was third at 10-over 658. San Diego was fourth (12 over) and Washington rounded out the top 5 (13 over).

In the individual competition, Southern California’s Elisabeth Bernabe won medalist honors by finishing two shots ahead of Alexandra Kaui of Southern Nevada. Bernabe played in the U.S. Women’s Open earlier this month. Kaui defeated her, 2 and 1, in the Round of 32 at the Girls’ Junior.

Galdiano and Koga tied for third at 2-under 214.
