Florida State won its home event, the Seminole Intercollegiate, on Sunday, coming from behind to finish ahead of Georgia Tech. It’s the first win of the season for Florida State, and the fifth time the team has finished in the top 10 in six starts this season.

The Seminoles, No. 20 in the Golfweek/Sagarin College Rankings, narrowly slipped by Georgia Tech in the final round, shooting a 12-under 272 to erase the five-shot deficit with which they started the day. Florida State ended at 23-under 829 for the tournament. Georgia Tech (No. 8) was one shot back.

Kennesaw State was the next closest team, finishing the weekend at 10-under 842. Mercer was fourth at 3 under and North Carolina fifth at 5 over.

Florida State’s Brooks Koepka won the individual title at 9-under 204, while teammate Chase Seiffert was runner-up one shot behind Koepka.
