Father of the Year Honoree
Jerry Cozby, a retired club pro whose three sons followed him into golf, has been selected as Golfweek's 30th annual Father of the Year. Cozby, 70, spent 41 years as head professional at Hillcrest CC in Bartlesville, OK. He retired in 2009. Cozby's sons Cary, Craig and Chance hold prominent positions in the golf industry. Cary is director of golf at Wichita (KS) CC; Craig is a Ping sales rep in Kansas and western Missouri; and Chance is Ping's director of tournament player relations, based in Phoenix.
