Player of the week: Brittany Marchand, N.C. State
The Wolfpack sophomore shot 4-under 68 on March 20 in the final round of the Pinehurst Spring Challenge to capture her second title in the past three events and also lead N.C. State to a team victory at the Pinehurst Spring Challenge. Marchand finished at 5-under 211 on Pinehurst No. 6 to win by two shots over teammate Vivian Tsui and Old Dominion's Elizabeth Haycock. Marchand also won the Sir Pizza Cards Challenge on Feb. 28.
