Masters weekend broadcast nets 44.3M viewers

An estimated 44.3 million viewers watched all, or part, of the Masters weekend coverage – the second-largest audience for the tournament's final rounds in the past 12 years, according to CBS Sports.

The number of weekend viewers represented a 13 percent increase compared with 39.3 million viewers in 2012.

Sunday's final round, which produced a dramatic playoff victory for Adam Scott, attracted 37.4 million viewers – up 13 percent from 33.1 million viewers a year ago.

CBS reported that the third round was watched by 20.9 million viewers – up 19 percent from 17.5 million viewers in 2012.

According to Nielsen analysis, the viewers are defined as those who watched at least six minutes of Masters coverage.
