The Tiger Woods Foundation announced Monday that it will take over management and operational responsibilities of the Deutsche Bank Championship, the second leg of the PGA Tour's FedEx Cup Playoffs to be held Aug. 30-Sept. 2 at TPC Boston in Norton, Mass.

Since 2003, the Deutsche Bank Championship has raised more than $24 million for both local New England charities and the Tiger Woods Foundation, which also runs the AT&T National and World Challenge tournaments.
