Normally, the week after a major is calm. That isn't the case this week at the RBC Canadian, with the likes of Bubba Watson, Luke Donald, Jim Furyk and Dustin Johnson in the field.

Yet, none of those names register as favorites this week in Canada.

Brandt Snedeker, Matt Kuchar and Charl Schwartzel are all favorites for our panel of experts, while also keeping an eye on Graeme McDowell and Hunter Mahan.

As for the panel, Lance Ringler extends his lead after taking Phil Mickelson at the Open Championship, while Nick Masuda moves into second after correctly picking Jordan Spieth at the John Deere Classic. Ringler now has a $1 million lead on the field.

Check out this week's picks:

Rank Winner Wild Card Last Week
Rude Brandt Snedeker

Coming off tie for 11th at Open Championship. Hasn't finished worse than 17th in his last three starts. Was T-5 at Glen Abbey in 2005.

Hunter Mahan

Coming off a tie for ninth at Open Championship. Was T-4 at U.S. Open. And was T-4 last time he played at Glen Abbey, nine years ago.

Winner: Steve Stricker (John Deere; $119,600), Tiger Woods (Open; $249,377); wild card: Charley Hoffman (John Deere; MC), Graeme McDowell (Open; $20,077). 2013 total: $7,195,940

McCabe Brandt Snedeker

Lost his focus for a few holes in Round 2, but otherwise played brilliantly at the Open Championship. Recent form has been "trending," as they say – T-17, T-8, T-11 – and he was T-9 in 2009 the last time the Canadian Open was held at Glen Abbey.

Bud Cauley

Has struggled most of the year, but he showed good signs at the Open Championship and he's had two good finishes (T-4, T-13) in his Canadian Open starts. Needs a good tournament, why not here?

Winner: Steve Strcker (John Deere; $119,600), Sergio Garcia (Open; $72,218) ; wild card: Morgan Hoffmann (John Deere; $71,300); Graeme McDowell (Open; $20,077). 2013 total: $8,076,088

Ringler Matt Kuchar

Look for the always-consistent Kuchar to be in contention this week after a T-15 last week at the British Open. Kuchar has made 22 consecutive cuts worldwide.

Hunter Mahan

T-4 at Glen Abbey in 2004 and current form suggesst a good finish is likely this week at the Canadian Open after a pair of top 10s at U.S. Open and British Open.

Winner: Steve Strcker (John Deere; $119,600), Phil Mickelson (Open; $1,442,826); wild card: Jeff Overton (John Deere; WD), Graeme McDowell (Open; $20,077). 2013 total:$9,655,098

Masuda Charl Schwartzel

After breaking his 6-iron early out of disgust, Schwartzel was nails at Muirfield. Gets his first Tour win of the season this week.

Graeme McDowell

Wasn't his best at Muirfield. But also, as No. 65 in the Golfweek/Sagarin Rankings, there is no way I can bet against a guy that has won three times this season.

Winner: Jordan Spieth (John Deere; $828,000), Tiger Woods (Open; $249,377); wild card: Morgan Hoffmann (John Deere; $71,300), Brooks Koepka (Open; MC). 2013 total: $8,670,426
