Less than one week after Mike McGraw was relieved of his duties as head coach at Oklahoma State, he has found a new home. McGraw will become the assistant coach at Alabama, according to sources close to the hire.

Alabama won the 2013 national championship and finished second in 2012. McGraw spent eight seasons in Stillwater, guiding the Cowboys to the national championship in 2006 and a runner-up finish in 2010. Four times in his eight years the Cowboys finished the season at No. 1 ranking in the final Golfweek/Sagarin Rankings.

McGraw will replace Rob Bradley, who will be named the head men’s coach at Purdue sometime next week, according to sources close to the Purdue program. Bradley played college golf at North Carolina under Devon Brouse, who is the director of golf at Purdue.
