Virginia Tech used an 11-under 277 to distance itself from North Florida for a 19-shot victory at the Furman Intercollegiate at the par-72 Furman University Golf Course.

The Hokies led by only four shots heading into Sunday's final round. They were the only team under par on Sunday.

Troy (9 over), Samford (13 over) and Iowa State (15 over) rounded out the top 5.

Samford's Drew Aimone fired a final-round, 5-under 67 to tie for medalist honors with Iowa State's Scott Fernandez, who fired an even-par 72.

Virginia Tech was led by Mikey Moyers (3rd), Bryce Chalkley (T-4) and Scott Vincent (T-7).
