Central Florida claimed the FAU Spring Break Championship at The Fountains Country Club in Lake Worth, Fla., on Sunday.

The Knights put a firm grip on the tournament title after a second-round 282, the low-team score of the tournament. Central Florida is No. 45 in the Golfweek/Sagarin College Rankings. It won the title by seven shots over Florida Gulf Coast and Hartford.

Miami (Ohio) shot a 26-over 878 good for fourth place. Host Florida Atlantic and Jacksonville State tied for fifth, another shot back.

Jacksonville State’s Tomasz Anderson shot 69-72-68 to overcome a five-shot deficit to claim his first win of the season and second of his career. Central Florida’s Greg Eason finished in second at 3-under 210.
