Final Scores

Virginia won the Bryan National Collegiate on Sunday by holding off No. 7 Arkansas at Bryan Park in Browns Summit, N.C. It’s the teams first title since September of 2010 and fifth in the program’s history.

Virginia, No. 17 in the Golfweek/Sagarin College Rankings, also beat top-10 teams Duke (2), Florida (6) and Vanderbilt (8).

The Cavaliers won by four shots with a 5-over 869. Arkansas shot 9-over 873. In third place was Wake Forest at 21 over. Vanderbilt finished another shot back, and Florida finished in fifth at 23 over.

The Cavaliers could have swept the titles, but Georgia’s Emilie Burger shot a final round 3-under 69 to claim the individual title over Virginia’s Brittany Altomare.

Burger, No. 34 in the Golfweek Rankings, shot 72-70-69 for a 5-under-par total, one shot better than Altomare.
