TEAMS

1. California: The fourth-ranked Bears are on a three-tournament win streak after its victory at the Alister MacKenzie on Oct. 15. The team shot 39-under 825 for a 22-shot win at its home event. Four of five players finished inside the top-12.

2. Northwestern: The Wildcats won its second tournament of the season at the Rod Myers Invitational on Oct. 13. The 34th-ranked team in the Golfweek Rankings was lead by senior Jack Perry and world No. 1 amateur and freshman Matt Fitzpatrick as they tied for medalist honors at The Duke Golf Club.

3. Virginia: The Cavaliers, No. 14 in the Golfweek Rankings, won its first tournament of the season at the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate on Oct. 13. After the first round, the Cavaliers were 7 over and in 10th place, but over the final two rounds, the team shot 29 under. Freshman Derek Bard, in his first tournament for Virginia, made a clutch 12 footer for birdie on the last for the one-stroke victory. Bard finished fourth, and junior Denny McCarthy finished tied for second.

4. Arkansas: Behind a final-round 4-under 284, Arkansas came from behind to win the Crooked Stick Intercollegiate over No. 5 Georgia. The Razorbacks claimed a five-shot victory for its first win this season. The team is ranked No. 25 in the Golfweek Rankings.

5. Oglethorpe: No. 20 in the Golfstat head-to-head Rankings, Oglethorpe went wire-to-wire to win the Golfweek DIII Fall Invitational by 19 shots. The team’s second round 10-under 279 was the low-round of the tournament.

INDIVIDUALS

1. Scott Vincent, Virginia Tech: With rounds of 67-68-68, the junior won the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate for his third win in four starts this season. Vincent won the event by two shots. He also won the Golfweek Conference Challenge and the VCU Shootout. He holds a 68.92 scoring average through the first four tournaments.

2. Joel Stalter, California: The senior picked up his third college win (first of the season) at Cal’s home tournament, the Alister MacKenzie. Stalter finished the event with a 13-under 203 total, good enough for a one-shot win.

3. Sebastian Cappelen, Arkansas: The senior notched his fourth collegiate victory with rounds of 70-71-71 to win by three at the Crooked Stick Intercollegiate on Oct. 15. He was only one of two players under par for the tournament and the only player to shoot under par in each of the rounds. He ended the tournament with 16 birdies.

4. Chase Koepka, South Florida: Koepka picked up his second victory of the season at the AutoTrader.com Classic. With a 10-under 206 total, Koepka won by two shots at Berkeley Hills CC.

5. Anthony Maccaglia, Oglethorpe: The junior shot a 4-under 67 at Raven Golf Club to claim medalist honors at the Golfweek DIII Fall Invitational. Maccaglia, who trailed by two shots heading into the final round, claimed his second victory of the year.
