Zach Johnson and Webb Simpson highlight the field for this week's Shriners Hospitals for Children Open, which begins Thursday at TPC Summerlin in Las Vegas.

Johnson, who recently won the BMW Championship and was part of the United States' winning Presidents Cup team, is ranked No. 11 in the Official World Golf Ranking. Simpson, who also played in the Presidents Cup, is 24th in the world rankings.

Two other players, Nick Watney and Hideki Matsuyama, are also ranked inside the top 30 in the world at Nos. 27 and 30, respectively. Matsuyama played last week at the season-opening Frys.com Open, where he tied for third.

Here are five other players to keep an eye on this week in Las Vegas:

Ryan Moore

The defending champion set the tournament 72-hole scoring record with a 260 last year. Moore, who attended UNLV, resides in Las Vegas. He tied for seventh at this event in 2009, but missed the cut in 2011. He'll play the first two rounds with Zach Johnson and Davis Love III.

Brendon de Jonge

The Zimbabwean is playing for the first time since the Presidents Cup. He finished runner-up to Moore last year at TPC Summerlin. He'll be paired with Hideki Matsuyama and Kris Blanks in the first two rounds.

Graham DeLaet

Like de Jonge, this International Presidents Cupper is making his first start of the 2013-14 PGA Tour season, too. DeLaet has a great playoff run last season, finishing T-2 at the Barclays and solo third at the Deutsche Bank Championship en route to qualifying for the Tour Championship, where he places 28th. He'll play with Harris English and John Merrick in the opening two rounds.

Jimmy Walker

Walker is coming off his first career PGA Tour victory, at the Frys.com Open. That was his 188th career start on Tour, as well. He finished T-10 in this event last year. He's paired with Nick Watney and Angel Cabrera in the first two rounds.

Brooks Koepka

A former All-American at Florida State and four-time Euro Challenge Tour winner, Koepka flirted with his first PGA Tour victory last week at CordeValle. He held the 54-hole lead before ultimately finishing T-3. He'll play with Ryo Ishikawa and Billy Hurley III, who, like Koepka, also earned a spot in this week's field via a top-10 finish at the Frys.com Open.
