Poor Bryce Molder’s two experiences in Walker Cups was losing both matches – a record, Molder says, being the only American to lose back-to-back Cups.

But even with two losses, the Georgia Tech grad still has nothing but good thoughts from his experience representing his country.

“It was as high of a point in my amateur career as I had,” Molder said. “And I knew it was going to be, and it was everything and more. My dream as a kid was to play on Ryder Cup teams, so to this point that's been my experience so far, and there's nothing – there's not even a second place to it.”

Molder still stays in close touch with teammates with James Driscoll and Lucas Glover on the PGA Tour, as well as others playing on different tours.

“David Eger was my partner, and we still send texts back and forth,” Molder said. “And on the team before, I was teammates with Kuch (Matt Kuchar) and we were actually partners in that event. . . . Or some guys, Tom McKnight was on one of my teams. I just had dinner with him earlier this year in Hilton Head. Yeah, you keep a bond.”
