After his victory at the European Masters, Thomas Bjorn moved into the top 50 in the Official World Golf Ranking.

Bjorn jumped 22 spots, from No. 66 to No. 44, his highest ranking since he was No. 41 following a missed cut at last year's European Masters. It's also the first time he has been inside the OWGR top 50 since dropping from 49th to 54th after a first-round exit in this year's WGC-Accenture Match Play.

Miguel Angel Jimenez also returned to the top 50 with his performance at the European Masters. Jimenez tied for fifth to move from No. 55 to No. 49.
