The Rivals Cup is a website that promotes college affiliations of pro athletes by ranking NCAA programs and seeing what university is having the biggest impact in pro sports.

In order for a player to qualify for the Rivals Cup, the athlete must have played at their respective school for a minimum of one year and recorded earnings in the prior year on the PGA Tour (in this case in 2013).

The earnings are based on the 2013-14 PGA Tour wraparound season.

Currently, the Georgia Bulldogs have made the most money on the PGA Tour through the 2014 Valero Texas Open at $11,256,981 million. 2012 Masters champion Bubba Watson leads the way with $2,913,007 million earned. There are nine other Bulldogs on the PGA Tour and three others – Harris English, Chris Kirk and Russell Henley – have earned more then $1.2 million.

Coming in at No. 2 on the Rivals Cup list is Georgia Tech at 4.463, almost $6.8 million less than in-state rival Georgia. This may come at a surprise but PGA Tour rookie, Chesson Hadley leads the Yellow Jackets with $1,214,506 million earned followed by Matt Kuchar.

UNLV has made the third-most money this year at $4,379,934. Baylor is in fourth at $3,940,420 and Oklahoma State rounds out the top 5 at $3,659,843 with Charles Howell III picking up $1,190,178.

• 6. Florida: $3,559,816

• 7. Coastal Carolina: $3,346,150

• 8. Wake Forest: $3,113,209

• 9. Augusta State: $3,030,336
