New Mexico fired a 3-under 281 – the only team to break par on Saturday – and will take a nine-shot lead over San Diego State into the final round of the Mountain West Championship.

The Lobos' Gavin Green and Victor Perez fired matching 2-under 69s at the OMNI Tuscon National and are currently also T-1 on the individual leaderboard. Sam Saunders added an even-par 71 and is fifth.

Green and Perez are tied with San Diego State's Riccardo Michelini at 3 under through 36 holes.
