Inaugural Matador Invitational welcomes West Coast teams

Eight teams and a few individuals make up the field at the Inaugural Matador Invitational in Simi Valley, Calif.

Four individuals from the No. 2 team in the Golfweek/Sagarin rankings, USC, will compete in the tournament, which takes place Monday and Tuesday at the Wood Ranch Golf Club.

The field includes: BYU, Cal Poly, Cal State Bakersfield, CSU-Northridge, Hawaii, Northern Colorado, Sacramento State, USC, UC Riverside.

The teams will play 36 holes on Monday and the final 18 on Tuesday.

Ellie Chai, Rachel Morris, Victoria Morgan and Kimberly Santiago of USC will compete just after the remainder of the team finishes up at the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge. readers: We value your input and welcome your comments, but please be respectful in this forum.
