A couple of top 50 teams will hit the course Monday through Tuesday at the Davidson College Invitational.

The tournament will be held at the River Run Country Club in Davidson, N.C.

The field includes Davidson, Drexel, Gardner-Webb, High Point, Holy Cross, Kent State (No. 22), La Salle, Longwood, Marshall, Presbyterian, Radford, St. Bonaventure, Tennessee (No. 45) and Wofford.

This will be the first action of the spring for Kent State. Senior Corey Conners is coming off of a big amateur win at the Jones Cup Invitational.

Tennessee has already competed twice this spring, earning top-10 finishes the Seabest Invitational and the John Hayt Invitational.

Davidson won the tournament last season behind the effort of Samuel Echikson, who took medalist honors. Neither Kent State nor Tennessee competed at the event last year.
