Rich Skyzinski

Rich Skyzinski joined Golfweek in 2004 and is editor of the Golfweek’s custom publishing department. Before joining Golfweek, he spent eight years as a sports writer and editor for three different daily newspapers in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and 17 years in the media relations department at the USGA and with the magazine Golf Journal. He graduated from Point Park University in Pittsburgh, has flown with the Blue Angels and was in the stadium for Franco Harris’s Immaculate Reception.

Bunker shot by Tiger Woods at the 18th hole of the 1993 U.S. Junior Amateur final; 310-yard 2-wood to 12 feet by Charles Howell III at Desert Forest, 1996 Junior Amateur final; or Chi Chi Rodriguez’s shot to the 18th fairway with a fairway wood he drew about 50 yards, last hole of regulation at the ’91 U.S. Senior Open at Oakland Hills.
