St. John’s senior leads Pacific Coast

St. John’s senior Keegan Bradley shot 2-under 70 Wednesday at San Diego Country Club in Chula Vista, Calif., to take the 36-hole lead at the Pacific Coast Amateur.

Bradley, of Jackson Hole, Wyo., is one shot ahead of defending champion Patrick Nagle (70), Georgia Tech junior Cameron Tringale (73) and Ryan Posey (72), who recently completed his career at Oklahoma State.

Las Vegas’ Brady Exber (72) is at 3 under par. Exber, 51, is one of two seniors in the field.

Nine golfers are at 2 under par, including University of San Diego golf coach Tim Mickelson (72), Western Amateur runner-up and 2005 Pacific Coast winner Adam Prugh (68) and California Amateur champion Josh Anderson (69), a high-school teammate of Rickie Fowler. Anderson will play for Pepperdine in the fall.
