The Asian Tour has signed a three-year agreement with IMG making the sports marketing firm its exclusive media agent.
The deal, which takes effect immediately and lasts through 2012, includes worldwide media rights to all Asian Tour sanctioned events.

Our pedigree in golf and media distribution means we are able to offer the Asian Tour a unique level of expertise matched with unparalleled worldwide distribution.”
The Asian Tour offers a year-round schedule of events and visits no fewer than 16 countries annually. The Asian Tour also has co-sanctioned events with the European Tour.
“IMG will provide the Asian Tour with a strong distribution network to further expand our audience and viewership in world golf,” said Eric Lynge, the Asian Tour’s senior director, TV and commercial affairs.
