Head-to-toe: Puma

This week from head-to-toe, we’ve got you covered in Puma. On the heels of Rickie Fowler storming onto the PGA Tour we wanted to take a closer look at all the different items they offer.

Unfortunately, my favorite item – the “Rickie is My Homeboy” T-shirt – is not for sale. It’s being used as a promo item so I’ll be sure to keep you posted when it’s available for consumers.

And Puma, if you’re reading this . . . What about something with some Wayne’s World inspiration? “Hey Rickie your so fine, your so fine you blow my mind, hey Rickie…” Just a thought.

Now to the real gear…

On top we have a yarn-dye golf polo, seen here in white, it also comes in black or stellar blue. The shirt is made with polyester and has a U.S.P. moisture management fabric, which basically means you’ll look great on and off the course. The shirt is a traditional silhouette with a modern style and costs $65.

These plain bermuda shorts in black are a great way to keep cool, comfortable and feel great going from the course to the clubhouse in a fashionable way. They have pockets in the front and back, and an additional pocket with a security zipper. In my opinion, these shorts are a sleek new version of the old cargo-styled shorts.

For a belt, Puma has some great options, but a classic black belt like the Gridlock Belt would look great with these shorts. It’s edgy but understated. The belt is genuine leather that extends to its matted brushed silver buckle with the Puma cat logo in the center.

Puma offer shoes with a sportier look or an edgier option. The Scramble is a shoe that Puma says you can both wear on a date and take home to mom. It works well on the fairways and greens with individually placed Smart Quill cluster and traction nubs on the outsole and different spike placements on the left and right shoes for performance. This shoe also has a cushioned midsole for comfort, water-repellent synthetic leather, rubber outsoles for traction and comes with a one-year waterproof warranty.
