WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – It’s never too early for the Q-School horror stories to start. We’re only midway through the fourth of six rounds, but Jeff Brehaut has fallen prey to the beast.
Brehaut was 8 under for the tournament, and in a tie for 17th, before going bogey-quadruple bogey. On the par-4 10th at Bear Lakes’ Lakes Course, Brehaut hit his tee shot near OB on the right side. He hooked his provisional into a lake left of the fairway.
Brehaut then left the tee to try to find his first tee shot. After an unsuccessful search, he returned to the tee to hit his fifth shot. The quad dropped him into a tie for 46th, four shots outside the cut line.
