When Tiger Woods pulled out of the Chevron World Challenge, Graeme McDowell stepped in. Although he came up a shot short of winning, he played great and looked fabulous all week.
McDowell is always on our fashion radar because he wears his looks so well – great color combinations paired with European trends. He brings new styles to the course that not everyone is wearing just yet.
Q’aja Couture keeps McDowell so fashionable. This company also represents Darren Clarke and Lee Westwood. Q’aja Couture is known for its striking colors, quality fabrics (cool wool and cashmere cotton blends) and trousers that are stylish and distinctive. Its clothes move in all the right places and that’s probably why golfers, business executives and other professionals enjoy this line and its variety throughout its three collections: Golf Couture, Boardroom Panache; and Clubhouse Contemporary.
Graeme’s look – He does a great job of combining the best color palettes with consistent fabrics. His Sunday look flowed just right with the light color choices and soft fabrics. The button down, V-neck, grey sweater was perfectly paired with a light lilac, two-piece collared shirt.
Things to remember – This look might already be in your closet. If you have a button-down sweater hanging in your closet that you usually wear just to the office or out to dinner, try it on over a fitted polo and wear it out to the course on a colder day. Your golf clothes can be your everyday clothes, too. J.Crew is a great place to check out for cotton-cashmere sweaters, including argyle, v-neck, button-down, zip and half zip.
