NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Jim Furyk is among the list of golfers and celebrities scheduled to appear at the Hootie & the Blowfish Monday After the Masters celebrity pro-am.
Organizers said on Thursday that Furyk and former NFL quarterback Boomer Esiason would make their first appearances at the annual outing, scheduled for April 12 at The Dye Club at Barefoot Resort & Golf.
Furyk has 13 career wins, including the 2003 U.S. Open.
Other PGA Tour regulars participating are Woody Austin, Rich Beem and fan favorite John Daly. Celebrities include pro wrestler Ric Flair, NASCAR driver Kyle Petty and Pro Football Hall-of-Famer Gale Sayers.
Last year, a team of Austin, comedian Bill Murray and Hootie & The Blowfish guitarist Mark Bryan won the pro-am title at 18-under par.
