ORLANDO, Fla. – Second-round co-leader D.J. Trahan is backing up on moving day.
Blame it on his back.
Trahan said a prior back injury flared up over night. Before he teed off, he told PGA Tour Radio’s Michael Collins that he woke up at 5 a.m. in pain. Trahan injured his back a few weeks ago while fishing with friends.
“I’m not sure I can play,” Trahan said, “but I want to give it a shot.”
The back troubled him right out of the gate. Trahan bogeyed his first three holes.
